Fixed number of Labels on axis

Hello,

I am using TeeChart 8.05.
What I am trying to do is the following: I have a teechart with some series in it. Now, on a timer event I am setting the minimum and maximum of the bottom axis to certain values, so that I can see a part of the chart animated from left to right.
No the problem is that sometimes additional labels appear and disappear on the bottom axis. It seems like Teechart is trying to put lables on the axis automatically as it finds that they are fitting in the available place. My question is: Can I prevent this and have a fixed number of labels, independent of the width of the axis?

Greetings,

Christian

Hi Christian,

Yes, I can think of two options to achieve that:

1. Manually setting axis minimum, maximum and increment properties as described in tutorial 4.
2. Use custom labels as shown in the All Features\Welcome!\Axes\Labels\Custom labels example in the new features demo.

Tutorials and new features demo can be found at TeeChart's program group.

Hope this helps!
