Install Problem Teechart Prof 7.04 / Delphi6

We can't Install Teechart Prof 7.04 on with delphi 6 sp2 Report Builder 6.03.
we have installed manually Teechart with Teechart7.04sourceCode.exe because the automatic Setup is stopped with an error (Version error on DecisionsCube).
Now, we have this error: Package Tee76 can not be loaded, because the unit teeabout is included in the package Tee60. What is the solution??

Hi Mec,

This error is most likely your IDE is still referncing or has installed old TeeChart packages.

First thing to do is check with Digital Metaphors if Report Builder you have is compatible with TeeChart Pro v7.04. Then do the following:

1) Uninstall old TeeChart and RB version.
2) Install all Delphi 6 available updates (Update Pack 2, RTL Update 2 and RTL Update 3)
3) Install latest TeeChart version
4) Install RB which works with TeeChart version you have (check with Digital Metaphors!)
5) If needed, recompile/reinstall RB TeeChart wrapper packages (again, check with DM about correct procedure).
