Zooming

Post by Richard » Mon Oct 25, 2010 9:19 am

Hi I am using Delphi 2010 with version build 2010.00.00047 (on win 7)

I have a very simple line chart with 2 series, which are both differenet in magintude. I.e. one ranges from 1-10 the other 1-100

So I set them to use different axis - one on the right and one on the left axis.
The axis both auto scale which is great and I can see all the data.

When I zoom the program sets both axis to the same scaling factor so that one of the series disappears off the visible chart area.

How do I get it so when I zoom, both series zoom correctly. The same thing happens on your SPC chart in you demo.

Any suggestions?

Richard

Hi Richard,

I'm afraid this is the same issue described here. We have just fixed it for the next maintenance release. The solution we adopted is different from the one in this thread but involves changes in a few units.

Thanks

Sorry I miss that thread - is it the maintenance release likely to be soon or months away - only so I know whether to sort out a fix or not!

Hi Richard,

We don't have a date fixed for the release but our intention is to publish maintenance releases more often than we used to. We already have a bunch of things finished to deliver in the next maintenance release so I expect it could be quite soon. In the meantime you can already use the fix I suggested or I could also send you all units with this issue fixed. Replacing them and running TeeRecompile should be enough.
