Making the chart transparent

I have a customer that wants to be able to have two windows, both with charts, and have the option to make one of them transparent. They want to overlay the transparent window, and graph, on top of the other window and compare their data. It is trivial to make the form transparent, but I cannot find a way to make the chart and the back wall transparent. Is this even possible?
