Hi,
Drop a TChart on a form, make it 2D, add a TColorLineTool and set its Draw3D property to False.
The when running the program, and when dragging the line using the mouse, NO temporary line is displayed until the mouse button is released as expected.

Yes, you are right. It seems that the combination you mention makes the tool not to be repainted while dragging. I've added it to the wish list (TV52013241) to be fixed in future releases.
