TeeChart 7 Eval on Delphi 6

Tried to install the eval version on Delphi 6 (Update 2, RTL Update 3). To no avail, Compiler complains that TeEngine was compiled with another System.RTLVersion. My System.RTLVersion is 14.20. Shouldn't this check be removed from the Tee source code?

Hi Alex,

strange, it should work fine. Make sure you have installed all the patches of Delphi6 before to install the TeeChart Pro v7.

I installed every patch for Delphi 6 that exists, including the latest nr 3. Also the RTL patch.
I told you my RTL version, it could be a good idea if you check the RTL version for which TeeChart 7 for Delphi 6 was compiled with, propably that one is not the latest version....

I'm having a very similar problem of my own...

I'm working with Delphi 6, Update Package 2. I installed TeeChart 7 for Delphi 6, and get the well known "TeEngine was compiled with another System.RTLVersion" error while trying to Build my ActiveX.

I searched this forum, found another thread which said "Install the RTL Update 3". I did, recompile my project: same error.

I uninstalled TeeChart and reinstalled it again, and then got the same error again.

What can I do next?

Hi Alexis,

strange, it should work. Make sure you've installed the TeeChart Pro after all the patches (rtl and update patches) has been installed. Installing TeeChart after all patches had been installed should work fine.
