Runtime user help with TChartEditorPanel?

Hi
Is it possible to enable runtime context sensitive help with the TChartEditorPanel? I have seen the Readme file that describes how to alter the registry regarding TEEUSER7.HLP but I can't find any information on how to make it work?

Have you tried adding the registry key to the machine as told in the readme?

Yes - the key is there and is correct as described in the Readme file. Nothng happens when pressing F1 or when using the context sensitive help tool (border icon). What other settings are needed.
I use BDS 2006 with all updates and TeeChart 7.07. The ChartEditorPanel is placed on a dialog that is shown modally.

Ok, TeeChart help file is not context sensitive for BDS. This is because in BDS the traditional .hlp help file system was changed to HTML help and Borland never published how to integrate .hlp files into BDS, only a non-working unit was created for that. Moreover, v7.07 crashed BDS 2006 help system and that's why we released v7.08, were we removed the mentioned unit.

OK - and yes, my help system is not working in BDS

Will the user help also work if I upgrade to 7.08 or do I have to create my own help file in my HTML help system?

Hi Lars,

If you update to v7.08 the BDS 2006 help system will work but TeeChart's help file won't, you'll have to use it manually.

This is a long-time known issue and we hope to find a solution for future releases.

I will upgrade to 7.08.
Hopefully you will include the user help for HTML - there is a LOT of features to document.

Hi Lars,

Yes, you'll find it at TeeChart Pro v7.07 Binary installers sections as this build was only released for BDS 20006 to fix the help file bug.
