TeeChart and Delphi6 Update 2

Hi,

We recently purchased TeeChart (our customer #J1366411) to use with an older application that was written in Delphi 6.

The latest registered version of TeeChart will only work with Delphi 6 that has Update 3 applied. We do not have Update 3 and it has been so many years since we purcahsed it we no longer have a Borland login to get Update 3.

Our TeeChart password will not unlock the previous verion I found on your
site that supports Update 2.
How can I get this to work?

Hi Doug,

If you want to install TeeChart Pro v7 VCL with Delphi 6 you will need all latest Delphi 6 updates available which are Update 2, RTL Update 2 and RTL Update 3.

If you have a valid Delphi 6 license you should have access to Borland's site to download those updates, if not, please contact Borland for that.

Our TeeChart password will not unlock the previous verion I found on your
site that supports Update 2.

Each TeeChart Pro v7 VCL license includes a free v6 license. Please read the complete order confirmation e-mail and you'll find the instructions to download version 6. You can try if this version works fine for you.

I have installed all the latest Delphi6 updates and I still get the error messge"

"[Fatal Error] CarJaq.dpr(9): Unit Series was compiled with a different version of System.RTLVersion"

I have been trying to get this to work for weeks now.
Very frustrating.

Hi Doug,

The correct procedure to get this working is:

1) Uninstall TeeChart.
2) Install all Delphi 6 updates (Update 2, RTL update 2 and RTL update 3).
3) Reinstall TeeChart.

Have you followed those steps?
