Color on surface plot

Hello,
I have a problem with the Surface chart style.
I cannot get the surfaces colorized according to the magnitude of the y-values. The legend shows different colors as expected but the surface only shows one color.

Also your examples application have the same problem.

Any news on the status of this issue?
It has been almost 6 months since I raised this issue and according to the bug tracker there is no change in status.
Could you please inform when we can expect an updated version with this issue resolved.

Our project is in it's finishing state and this is the last issue to be fixed. If you cannot give us some form of news we have to start considering other component vendors.

I've revised the ticket, found a fix for it and prepared an installer.
