is it really necessary to skip too long words in the search with the new forum?

The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: ontopleftchanged.
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards.

Maybe this could be old stuff.

If necessary we could increase that size. However, as the error message already told you, you can use wild-cards for such searches, for example: ontopleftch*.
