Help from Editor

When I click on the "Help" button in the Editor dialog, I get the following message:

"Cannot find \TeeUserX7.hlp Help file. Check to see that the file exists on your disk. If it doesn't, you need to reinstall it."

The file does exist in the docs directory. Does it need to be registered again? I don't remember registering it separetly when I first downloaded TChart V7.

Thanks.

Hi nbp,

Have you tried using latest installer available at the client area?

Thanks in advance.

When the user clicks on the "Help" button in the Teechart editor, he gets a message saying TeeUserX7.hlp is missing.

Does this help file need to be shipped with my application? Does it need to reside in the same directory as TeeChart7.ocx? Does the install script for my application need to register the hlp file separately? (We do register TeeChart7.ocx).

Thanks

Hi nbp,

Yes, the hlp has to be registered in the end machine and in the registry there should be indicated its location so it can vary.
Please take a look at Tutorial 18 - TeeChart runtime installation requirements
