Hi,
we use TeeChart 8.0.0.4 in a VisualFoxpro application
Every time we use the editor and choose to save the graph, the dialog box used to set the name of the file cause an error that disable loading forms or other objects (images)
All Ok if we choose to print a graph
Error if we chose to save (dialog to set the name)
Error if we chose to print to a virtual printer (pdf or image that required the same dialog window)
The solution of this problem is very important for us
Do you have a pacth or any other solution ?

Thanks

Hi Vision,

I'm not able to reproduce this here. Can you reproduce this using the Visual Fox Pro examples at C:\Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart Pro v8 ActiveX Control\Examples\Visual FoxPro? Which VFP version are you using and which are the exact steps we should follow to reproduce the issue here?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
We have found the problem.
When you save the graph from the editor as a file(as an image, or any other supported format) the ActiveX change the
default directory of the FoxPro runtime.
We resolved this bug saving the default directory before opening the editor and restoring it with " SET DEFAULT TO" command.
You can try running a form from Visual FoxPro and saving the graph into Your desktop: You will see the default directory in " Tools -> Options -> File Location" linking your desktop.

We use Visual FoxPro 9.

Hi Vision,

We are glad to hear you found a solution to the issue. Anyway, does this also happen running the application from its *.exe?

Thanks in advance.

Hi NarcĂs,
Yes, it does. Both when you start the program from the *.exe or when you start the program from Visual FoxPro.

Thanks.
