I was using 7 version eval with VFP and it expired. I purchased 8 and registered it but all charts say 7.0 eval has expired. Do I have to recreate the charts using 8 olecontrols, or is there another solution? I did notice the oleclass for the control is still tchart.tchart.7.

Included with v8 installation there are some tools and documents that explain how to upgrade from v7 from v8. Some of those tools do this process automatically. You'll find the Upgrading from TeeChart v7 document and Utilities folder in TeeChart's program group.
