I'm using TeeChart ActiveX 7 in some of my MS Access applications. It was working fine on my computer, but when I distributed it to users, the chart tended to shrink during run-time. In design the chart still had the original size I gave it. I could solve this by increasing the size of the chart, but I had to do this everytime I released a new version. I wanted to solve this problem, so I replace my current version (may 2005) with the current version (v7.0.0.7) april 2006. This version didn't solve it, but introduced a new problem. Now charts in the form are sometimes flickering in design-mode and during run-time. Any suggestions about what I can do to solve this two problems? For sizing I already checked things like resolution and monitor dimensions.

I can not reproduce the problem here. Could you please send us an example we can run "as-is" or tell us the steps to reproduce the problem here?

BTW: Do those problems happen in a specific operating system or MS Access version?

On my system it isn't difficult to reproduce the problem. I open a new form in a Access database and place a 'TeeChart Pro ActiveX control v7'. It is instantly flickering, looks like it's constantly redrawn. The size of the chart changes when I run the application on a collegees computer (like 30% smaller or larger). The size in the design is still correct.

This is my config:
P4 2,4GHz + 1gig. mem
Windows version: Windows 2000 5.00.2195 service pack 4
Access version: 2002 + service pack 1

The config of my collegee:
Windows XP & the Access version 2002 + service pack 1

I also tried the same at home where I have Office 2003 installed. Here I didn't experience any flickering, guess a newer office version could solve this problem. Don't know if this will also solve the resizing problem. In the near future all computers here will upgrade to Office 2003, so I will just wait for that to happen.

Thanks for the information. We finally could reproduce it here using Office 2000 and 2003. It is certainly a bug, we have added it to our defect list (TA05011402) and we will try to fix it ASAP.

Were you also able to reproduce the change in chart-size between systems that I described in the previous messages? This was the cause of my second problem with the new version. Do you also know when a new release can be expected?

This is the way I can reproduce this: I open a new access form and add teechart AX and put some controls around them. When I transfer it to another computer in the department, the chart increases or decreases in size. When I open the form in design mode, it is still the original size I gave it on my computer. When I resize the teechart component and then change the size back to what it was before, the problem is solved. The problem is that I cannot do this every time I give the database to another person.

I can not reproduce the issue here using TeeChart v7.0.0.7 and Microsoft Office Access 2003 (11.6566.6568) SP2. I create an acces form with a TeeChart on it. Anytime I open the form on other machines the chart has the same size I originally designed. Which Access version are you using?

Sorry for the delayed reply, We are also using TeeChart AX V7.0.0.7, but Access Version 2002 (10.2627.3501) SP1
