Hi Pep,

An agent software of my company downloads TEECHART6.OCX at [USER DIRECTORY]. It performs the following steps in client side.

regsvr32 [USER DIRECTORY]\TeeChart6.ocx

If some error should occur, client's software will report the error. The error report includes userID, OS, last message and others.

The error message relating to the TEECHART: LoadLibrary("TeeChart6.ocx") failed. Get LastError returns 0x80004005. (mainly on Windows 98SE, ME)

We're roughly guessing what's the cause
1. Our customer's Windows registry is heavily polluted
2. Collision with TEECHART6 and other TEECHART
3. Mismatch between TEECHART and WIndows system files

Best regards. :o

Hi Mani,

ok,..mmm.. has he tried to unregister all the teechart versions before to register the teechart6.ocx with regsvr32 again ?

If he is installing with regsvr32 then he should be aware that the TeeChart Pro AX v6 uses a dynamic link library, Lpng.dll to facilitate export to PNG format graphic files. The DLL is included with the TeeChart installer and is installed to the Windows\System[32] folder at installtime.
If he require his redistributable application to export to PNG format files then you should include this DLL with your installer files. Lpng.dll is public domain. Version information may be found at http://www.libpng.org/. It may be the lack of this file which is casuing the error message ...
