Export Resolution

Is there a way to alter the resolution of the output stream when exporting as JPG or GIF?
The default seems to be 200dpi.
For this paticular application increasing the image size and subsequently re-scaling the image is not an option.
Any ideas?

Is not IJPEGExport.CompressionQuality what you're looking for?

I'm no expert on such matters but through experimentation I have found that IJPEGExport.CompressionQuality certainly affects the quality of the image (and of course the file size), but does not affect the resolution (dpi) as reported by imaging applications, which always remains at 200dpi.
Our print designer reliably informs me that the resolution is not as good as other images we produce at 300dpi!

I'm afraid to say that you are correct; at this moment in time there seems to be no way to set the dpi at which TeeChart bitmaps are saved. I will add this idea to the feature request list, meaning that an implementation of it will be considered for inclusion into a future maintenance release.

I look forward to the next release, in which you will, of course, have decided to include support for HiRes images!!!
Thanks for the prompt response.
