To reproduce this problem, please go to: http://mb.precis.net/testing.htm

You will recognise this as one of your own test pages.

Produce a chart and show the Editor.

You will notice the following in the Data page:

1. "Show colors" is selected. This appears to be random behaviour - some charts have it selected, others do not.

2. the "Fruit" column shows X values for "Other", even though "Show X values" is not selected.

3. if you clear "Show colors", the Y values for "Fruit" now appear in the correct column, but the X values for "Other" are still there.

4. if you now select "Show X values" all X values appear in the correct place.

5. if you clear "Show X values" only Y values appear, again in the correct place.

6. if you select "Show colors" the Y values don't shift right.

While this is better than the "range check errors" and "index out of bounds" problems that used to sometimes occur, it's not right!

Is there a workround for this?

Hi,

yes, you're correct. I'm able to reproduce the problems here. We'll try to fix them for the next maintenance releases.
Is there a workround for this?
I'm afraid that there's not a workaround that I know of.

Is this fixed in V6.0.0.6? If not, are any further maintenance releases planned for V6?

H,

it's not fixed in the v6.06, neither in the v7.03 We'll try to fix it for the next v7.04. For the moment we've not plans to prepare more maintenance releases for v6.
