Hi,

We are porting our 32 bits apps to 64 bits and would like to know what version of TeeChart ActiveX supports 64 bits application?

We are currently using TeeChart ActiveX 7.0 with our 32 bits apps.

Thanks,
Dominic

Hi Dominic,

There's no 64-bit native TeeChart ActiveX version. TeeChart Pro ActiveX is a COM wrapper of TeeChart Pro VCL. Therefore a 64-bit native version can not be developed until Delphi offers 64-bit support.

Anyway, you should be able to register *.ocx files using regsvr32 with a 64-bit machine. Are you having any specific problem?

Thanks in advance.

I was able to install and run my 32 bits app and TeeChart ActiveX 7.0 on Windows 7 64 bits.

Do you have an idea (timeframe) when the 64 bits will be available?

Regards,
Dominic

Hi Dominic,

As you can see here:

Embarcadero plans to develop a 64-bit compiler but is vague on the time scale :(. Once it's available we will have to start the work at our side.

Hi Dominic,

Also, if what is said in Embarcadero's forums thread below is true, it will take us some more time to make TeeChart VCL source code compatible with the new VCL framework.

Hi Dominic,

Delphi development manager says it was a misunderstanding:

Well, you can follow this thread on your own .
