I have managed C++ source code supplied by a 3rd party that used TeeChart ActiveX (version 1.1.1675.27998, I have been told) . When I install the trial version of TeeChart ActiveX (v8) and try to compile the code, it finds the refs to TeeChart class, but not the AxTeeChart class. How much work am I in for here?

In that case this 3rd party may refer to TeeChart for .NET v1. Current version is TeeChart for .NET 2009 (v4). You can download the fully functional evaluation version here:

Installing the .NET2009(V4) Eval did not help.

The basic question is: Where is the AxTeeChart class?

What product do I need to install to get it?

If the class has been removed from newer versions, is there a porting document/guide with suggestions on how to change to become more current.

I would have thought that the "Ax" prefix would have indicated an ActiveX control.

Sorry, I misunderstood you. In that case you can find AxInterop.TeeChart.dll and TeeChart.dll for TeeChart Pro ActiveX at C:\Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart Pro v8 ActiveX Control\Utilities\Vs.net\Strong Named DLLs.

I'm sorry but the path:

"C:\Program Files\Steema Software\TeeChart Pro v8 ActiveX Control\Utilities\Vs.net\Strong Named DLLs"

does not exist for the demo version.

No solution to this? Product doesn't support this class anymore?

You are right. Until now, the ActiveX evaluation version didn't include this folder. We will include it in the next versions.
If it is really necessary for you, we could try to prepare them for you and send it.

Yes, please do put something together in the eval version.

I really need to verify that this works and allows the code to compile/link so that I can include the cost of the product in my estimate.
I don't mind being a beta-tester for you.

If you have a place I can download it from when it's ready just let me know.

What do you think would be an ETA before it's ready (roughly, are we talking hours/days/weeks?)
