Design mode color selection window not modal

TeeChart 8.0.0.4 ActiveX

For selecting colors from TeeChart configuration dialogs the standard Windows color selection palette is used. This window is not modal, so I'm able to click back on configuration dialog and either open another color selection or configure something different. But the old color selection window loses focus and is hidden behind other windows. Of course you are unable to close the configuration panel until you press the Alt key to bring the color selection window to front.

Tried with Excel as ActiveX with Insert/Object, I think it's easy to reproduce.

The situation is even worse when you use TeeChart ActiveX in another application (like PI ProcessBook) that periodically "steals" the focus and returns it to topmost modal window. In that case the color selection window is hidden immediately after selecting (the focus returns to the TeeChart configuration menu).

I don't know if there are other windows behaving this way, until now only Color Selection found.

Yes, this is a known issue. We haven't found a solution yet but will try to solve it for next releases.
