When using the teechart activex component a *.mdf file is created. In previous version of teechart (V5, V6, V7) i copied this *.mdf file, together with my program, in its program directory. This always worked fine.
As of V8 this doesn't work as before. Some windows with the teechart control open fine others do not. Only by placing a copy of the *.mdf in the windows\system32 directory all (seems to) works well.
1. Why is this behaviour changed ? Placing the *.mdf file in the program directoy seems logical; windows\system32 is not always available (for R/W).
2. What is the correct (or intended) directory to place the *.mdf file

it's strange, we haven't done any specific changes related to mdf files, it should work as before.
Maybe the problem is related with the folder permissions ?
Which error does it gives you ?
