HTML design time problem (Emergency)
HTML design time problem (Emergency)
Hi all, i try to design a chart with TeeChart7 in .html file. When I set some properties (visual settings; i.e. color, gradient, etc.) of my chart at design time via editor dialog page, it looks good. However, when I switch the code view of my html editor (Visual Interdev) for any code requirement and back again to design view, I can't see anything I set, only I can see default TeeChart view... Is there anybody knows about that? Thx...

Hi alpella,
I've tested that using latest TeeChart Pro v7 ActiveX release available at our Customer Download Area and works fine here inserting the chart from the toolbox as an object. Can you please specify the steps to reproduce this problem here?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, I've just found the exactly description of the problem. All steps are visually edit dialog page from .htm editor (visual development environment MS.NET)
Here are the steps;
1- Set many visual property of chart. Such as add one horizontal bar serie and set the serie color to blue and set gradient for gray and blue for this horizBar serie...
2- Click the OK button. The chart ocx is ok at the moment, I mean it looks right (One horizBar serie and it is blue-gray gradient)
3- Switch to "HTML" view of your editor and code some html line (it's not important what you coded, trick is switching between "design" and "HTML" view)
4- And change a bit more visual settings via "Edit" dialog page opened pop-up menu within TeeChart ocx. So, Set a few property as first step and click OK button
5- Again switch the "HTML" view, you can do what you want
6- Finally, when you return to "design" view, you see the chart as second step, not the fifth step!!!
As result, becasue of this reason, I must do all visually design as one step

Hi alpella,
Thanks for your instructions. I've been able to reproduce it here but I also find a workaround which is editing those TChart properties at the "Source" tab where you can visually edit TChart as well.
However, I'll add this issue to our wish-list to be reviewed for future releases.
