I'm no expert on such matters but through experimentation I have found that IJPEGExport.CompressionQuality certainly affects the quality of the image (and of course the file size), but does not affect the resolution (dpi) as reported by imaging applications, which always remains at 200dpi. Export Resolution
Is there a way to alter the resolution of the output stream when exporting as JPG or GIF?
The default seems to be 200dpi.
For this paticular application increasing the image size and subsequently re-scaling the image is not an option.
Any ideas?
